Kobe Steel to make donations to Niigata |

Kobe Steel, Ltd. expresses its sympathy to the victims
of the Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake.
Kobe Steel and its group companies will make a monetary donation and provide
relief goods to Niigata Prefecture for the people and districts affected
by the quake. The donations will be made on November 12.
In the 1995 Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the Kobe Steel Group, one of
hardest-hit companies, received warm assistance from all over the country.
In the Niigata quake, Kobe Steel hopes that the damaged districts will make
a quick recovery and that the people caught in the disaster will be able
to return to normal life soon.
