Direct Reduction is an iron making process for the new era, which utilizes natural gas to reduce iron ore to produce Direct Reduced Iron (DRI).

FASTMET is a direct reduction process using rotary hearth furnace (RHF). Various carbon sources such as coal, coke breeze or carbon bearing wastes can be used as reductant.
