At the Technical Development Group, we have dedicated many years to building up a broad base of technologies through research and development activities with our diverse businesses, including materials, machinery, and electric power. The technological assets that support the creation of unique products and our advanced manufacturing capabilities can be classified into four fields and 21 core technologies. While working to strengthen and combine these core technologies, Kobe Steel will endeavor to create new value for its customers.
