TOKYO, April 20, 2009 - Kobe Steel, Ltd. announces that Executive Vice President and Representative Director Keiji Koyama passed away on Thursday, April 16 at 8:40 pm at Shinko Hospital in Kobe due to cardiac failure. He was 61 years old.

Graduated from the Faculty of Letters, University of Tokyo in March 1971
