Disclosure of Environmental Information

In order to provide accurate information to all stakeholders on activities related to environmental management, the Kobe Steel Group is proactive in its disclosure. Individual business locations also work to establish environmental communication through regular dialogue with local persons.

Publication of Sustainability Reports

Publication of Sustainability Reports

Since the first issue in 1999, Kobe Steel has been publishing environmental sustainability reports each year to introduce various environmental initiatives. In 2006, a social component was added to reporting, and the environmental sustainability report was replaced with a sustainability report. In the future we will continue to strive to ensure that the results of Kobe Steel Group's environmental management activities are conveyed to as wide an audience as possible. More detailed environmental data, examples of initiatives and previous years' reports can be found on the KOBELCO website.
