We strive to conserve energy and resources through product assessments.

When designing products, we compare previous corresponding products, looking to improve energy conservation, resource conservation, recyclability, disassembly and waste produced, which are then reflected in product design.

We pursue thorough energy savings throughout our plants.

We have also implemented energy-saving measures at our distribution centers and plant buildings, such as more efficient lighting, rational use of air compressors, and introduction of inverters.

Microbinary Generators

Microbinary Generators
Microbinary generators can generate power from heat sources such as hot water, steam and geothermal heat. They help reduce energy costs through conservation and peak shaving and can also be used for small-scale green generation.

SteamStar

SteamStar
SteamStar is a power generation system that utilizes the steam emitted by a plant's boiler. We offer compact, high-performance generators that can generate up to 160 kW from surplus steam. (Radial turbine generators can generate 2,000 kW.)

Kobelion-SD

Kobelion-SD
The Kobelion-SD is the world's first compression heat recovery steam-driven air compressor, combining an air compressor driven by a steam motor with a compression heat recovery unit that utilizes compressed heat previously emitted into the atmosphere. Compared with earlier electric-powered compressors, the Kobelion-SD reduces energy consumption by approximately 85 percent and CO2 emissions by approximately 90 percent.

Distribution

We look for opportunities to conserve energy when shipping products.

We pursue energy-saving product shipping, paying meticulous care to reviewing shipping routes and making other improvements. Additionally, in order to ensure more efficient distribution for our plants in China, we strive to optimize transport and to simplify packaging for parts and other items through use of returnable shipping cartons*.

* The cartons used to ship products. They can be used multiple times, helping to reduce the amount of packaging used.

Use by Customers

We propose energy-saving solutions to customers.

In order to help the customers who use our compressors save energy, we offer energy conservation seminars, make energy-saving diagnoses, and propose the latest energy efficient equipment. We provide total support to meet our customers' needs, from analyzing the current situation to offering concrete solutions.

Waste Reduction and Recycling

We have achieved zero landfilling through effective resource recycling.

Zero landfilling is achieved through thorough reduction and recycling of waste items such as wood chips, waste oil and waste paints.
