Midrex and SMS group to supply MIDREX Flex Plant for TOSYALI SULB in Libya

Midrex Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Kobe Steel, and its consortium partner Paul Wurth, an SMS group company, have signed with TOSYALI SULB Steel Industries, which was formed by Tosyalı and Libya United Steel Company for Iron & Steel Industry (SULB), for the supply of a MIDREX Flex^® technology-based DRI plant with an annual production capacity of 2.5 million tons to be built in the Benghazi region, Libya.
