Executive Vice President Keiji Koyama Passes Away

TOKYO, April 20, 2009 - Kobe Steel, Ltd. announces that Executive Vice President and Representative Director Keiji Koyama passed away on Thursday, April 16 at 8:40 pm at Shinko Hospital in Kobe due to cardiac failure. He was 61 years old.

Biography of Keiji Koyama
Born in Kagawa Prefecture on January 2, 1948
Graduated from the Faculty of Letters, University of Tokyo in March 1971
Entered Kobe Steel in April 1971
