Kobe Steel, Ltd. completed the following procedures on February 2, 2026, as announced in the press release dated May 12, 2025, titled "Notice Concerning Execution of Share Exchange Agreement (Simplified Share Exchange) for Making Nippon Koshuha Steel Co., Ltd. a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Kobe Steel, Ltd., and Transfer of Nippon Koshuha Steel Shares to Daido Steel Co., Ltd."
- Kobe Steel has acquired 100% ownership of Nippon Koshuha Steel Co., Ltd. through a simplified share exchange.
- Nippon Koshuha Steel has provided Kobe Steel with in-kind dividends consisting of all outstanding shares the company holds in Koshuha Foundry Co., Ltd. and its assets associated with the iron casting business.
- Kobe Steel has transferred all its common shares in Nippon Koshuha Steel to Daido Steel Co., Ltd.
