Midrex Technologies, Inc. (Midrex), a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Kobe Steel, has been selected by Mesabi Metallics to supply MIDREX Flex™ technology for the direct reduced iron (DRI) component of a planned new integrated steelmaking complex in Iowa, United States.
