Continuous Casting Machine

About Continuous Casting Machine

A continuous casting machine is equipment that continuously cools and solidifies molten steel into solid steel, with each piece of equipment working stably in a high-temperature environment. Its full-fledged practical use began in the 1960s, and since then, numerous research and development and improvements have been made in pursuit of higher productivity, more efficient energy use, a broader application range of steel types, and stricter quality.

We are constantly working on development and improvement to meet our customers' increasingly sophisticated demands, including further improvements in the safety and reliability of our machines and the quality of our castings. We have extensive experience with various sorts of casters, including curved, vertically bent, and vertical types, for slabs, blooms, and billets. We can flexibly respond to our customers' requests and help resolve their manufacturing and quality concerns.

Kobe Steel has a steel production division and has accumulated equipment technology for special steel manufacturing. In recent years, we have achieved vertical startup of newly installed machines while satisfying both the required product quality and operation performance, earning us excellent customer satisfaction.
