Kobelco North introduces aluminum honeycomb vacuum chucks optimized for reducing the weight of manufacturing equipment.
As manufacturing equipment continues to increase in size, floor load capacity has become a critical design challenge.
By adopting aluminum honeycomb panels for equipment tables, table weight can be reduced to 20 kg/m² or less.
Reducing table weight enables downsizing of table drive systems and peripheral equipment, contributing to overall equipment weight reduction.
Custom-designed honeycomb panels and vacuum chucks can be supplied as a one-package solution.
