Materials for semiconductor leadframes
Back-end Process
Copper stripes
KFC material developed by KOBELCO is the de facto standard alloy in power semiconductors
- Copper alloy providing both conductivity/heat dissipation and strength for precision processing that is indispensable for lead frame materials.
- Not based on rare earths, KFC is an excellent precipitation type alloy widely recognized in the semiconductor industry with thermal resistance in addition to excellent electric/thermal properties and strength.
- KLF194 is a product intended to differentiate technology for removal of internal residual stress, and is well accepted for etching lead frame applications which require high standards for material stress.

Product line-up
Leadframes
Our leadframes contribute to the transformation to a decarbonized society, in areas such as electric cars and power generation by renewable energy.
- KOBELCO entered the leadframe business in the 1980s; so we have relations with major power semiconductor makers worldwide.
- We keep a stable supply and respond with the “One Stop” approach to requests for high technology development by integrated systems with copper material.
