High Conductivity and Heat Resistant Copper Alloy KFC™

Copper alloy with heat resistance superior to C14415 (Cu-0.15%.Sn)

CDA No. 19210
KFC™ is a precipitation-hardened copper alloy with fine Fe2P compounds in the matrix, formed by adding small amounts of iron and phosphorus to copper.

Features

  • Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity
  • Higher strength than pure copper and C14415
  • Excellent bare bondability
  • Excellent solderability and platability
  • Heat resistant temperature above 400 degree, and higher than C14415

Applications

  • Heat spreader for BGA
  • Leadframe for transistors
