Titanium Alloys for Two-Wheel and Four-Wheel Vehicle Mufflers

Features

KSTI-1.2ASNEX™

This titanium alloy product offers the formability of commercially pure titanium while being two to three times stronger than commercially pure titanium at high temperatures. It also has improved high-temperature anti-oxidation properties, which is a weak point for commercially pure titanium, making it ideal for mufflers.

KSTI-1.5AL (JIS Class 50, ASTM Gr. 37)

This titanium alloy product is the world’s first mass-produced titanium alloy for mufflers. It retains the formability of commercially pure titanium while achieving two to three times more strength than commercially pure titanium at high temperatures. It has a proven track record in the muffler industry, and is registered as a JIS standard and ASTM standard.

  KSTI-1.2ASNEX KSTI-1.5AL
