Super High Strength Titanium Alloy KS15-5-3

Features

Achieving the highest level of strength and springiness of any titanium alloy

  • Annealed (molten) material: Tensile strength 900–1000 MPa, Young's modulus 75 GPa
  • Excellent workability and hardening properties: Achieves tensile strength of over 1300 MPa through cold working alone
  • Solution treatment + aging treatment: Tensile strength 1400–1500 MPa (See chart below)
⇒Exhibits excellent springiness due to high strength and low Young's modulus.
  • Currently in use as an orthopedic implant material free of vanadium.
